





ENTRY-LEVEL SYSTEMS DRAFTSPERSON A vacancy exists for a full-time, entry-level Systems Draftsperson, to support the Integrated Systems Group (ISG). This person must be able to use AutoCad to prepare computer-generated drawings and flow diagrams from rough sketches, and write descriptions or concepts in support of Virginia Material Handling (VMH) function. The successful applicant will also plan and evaluate view equipment layouts, prepare special equipment arrangements, fabricate drawings of parts or assemblies, maintain back-up library of all department drawings, maintain department drawing files in an orderly manner, assemble drawing submission packages, offer design or layouts input, and other duties as assigned. A high school diploma is necessary. Drafting certificates, high school, college or trade school drafting courses highly desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Compensation $12.00 – $15.00 hourly. Negotiation within the wage band is dependant on combination of academic training and real-world application. |
MANAGER, INTEGRATED SYSTEMS GROUP The successful candidate will establish departmental operating procedures, delegate and handle paperwork flow through departments, manage and direct the Integrated Systems Group (ISG) department’s quoting, selling, and project management, install and service material handling systems, develop marketing strategies for ISG’s metal separator and bulk equipment segments, analyze project schedule lists to ensure projects are on time and within budget, prioritize department workload, and other essential duties as assigned. Some travel is necessary. An engineering Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, and at least 5 years experience operating in a similar capacity is essential. Compensation is between $85,000 and 90,000 annually. Negotiation within the wage band is dependant on combination of academic training and real-world application. Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry is a definite plus. |
MIG/TIG WELDERS A vacancy exists for full time MIG/TIG welders able to fabricate, heat, weld, cut, and braze simple mild steel and/or stainless steel parts and assemblies in accordance with standard trade practices. Generally, welding assignments are accompanied by blueprints, sketches, and oral instructions. Must be able to read and understand basic blue prints, read a tape measure, and pass a welding test. One year of experience as a skilled welder, or the completion of a recognized welding apprenticeship is essential. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Regular shift is ten hours, Monday to Thursday. Overtime work is available on Fridays as needed. Compensation is between $12.00 – 15.00 hourly. Negotiation within the wage band is dependant on combination of training and real-world application. Experience in Tig welding is a definite plus. |
